ACTIVE MEMBERS:

The West Harrison Fire Department encourages anyone interested in joining to visit the firehouse at during any Tuesday evening between the hours of 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.  Or contact us by phone at (914) 949-0428.  Volunteering and serving the community can be a rewarding experience. You will get a sense of accomplishment by giving back to your community. Individuals interested in joining the West Harrison Fire Department must reside in the Town Village of Harrison (includes Harrison, Purchase), White Plains, North Castle applicants must be at least 18 years of age, pass a physical examination and a backround check.

JUNIOR MEMBERS:

The West Harrison Fire Department also has a Junior firefighter program for youths aged 13-17 years old. The prupose of this program is to give knowledge in the basics of firefighting to youths in the community who have an interest in volunterring as an active member. The Junior Firefighters meet every Wednesday night from 6:30 Pm - 8;30 Pm. Feel free to stop by during that time period to meet the members and watch along as the Juniors practice.
