At approximately 20:45 hours on Tuesday December 27th the West Harrison Fire Department was dispatched with Harrison EMS to White Plains Avenue and High Street for a Motor Vehicle Accident with extrication. Car 2501 was first to arrive on scene an confirmed one occupant was trapped in the vehicle which was on its side. Firefighters from West Harrison stabilized the vehicle with our Paratech Struts and utilized two cutters and reciprocating saws to free the occupant. Once access was gained West Harrison Firefighters assisted with patient packing and the patient was transferred to Harrison EMS for further evaluation and care. One Patient was transported to a local trauma center. Units cleared at approximately 21:40 hours.
